Meet the Team
 Lisa Hensley, RDH Lisa is a native of Northern Virginia. She is a registered dental hygienist and is Dr. Casagrande's treatment coordinator. Lisa has been working in the orthodontic field for more than twenty years. She enjoys orthodontics because of the positive impact it makes in the lives of patients. The change is phenomenal! Lisa enjoys photography and traveling. She keeps busy with her husband Jim and the busy schedules of their three daughters, Caleigh, Christin, and Carly. Jill Melendez, Lead Assistant, Lab Technician Jill has been an orthodontic assistant/lab technician since 2001. She is from Puerto Rico and loves to go there yearly to visit family. Jill has a beautiful daughter, Arianna. When she's not at work, Jill loves snowboarding, hiking, camping, running, playing softball, and spending time with friends. Bernie Melendez, Assistant Bernie currently attends E.C.P.I. college where she is receiving her associates degree in medical assisting. She has also attended school for massage therapy. Currently, she is an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Casagrande. Her hobbies are women's softball, co-ed softball, fishing, camping, and kayaking. Next year, Bernie will be coaching her niece's softball team. She is very active. Bernie started working for Dr. Casagrande in January 2009, and has enjoyed learning all aspects of orthodontic care. Casey Peterson, Inter-practice Relations Casey earned her degree in Multimedia Design from the School of Media Arts & Design at James Madison University. After graduating, she worked for Burson-Marsteller in their art department creating print and web materials. She officially joined the Northern Virginia Orthodontic team in December 2009. When not working, she and her husband Bobby, enjoy chasing after their two girls, Ella & Sadie. Marissa Jonas Marissa is a southern girl. She moved here from Atlanta and grew up in Birmingham. She has an Associates Degree in Commercial Photography, and takes photos on the side. Marissa enjoys traveling, playing Frisbee, watching college football, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. Katherine Bouldin, CDA Kathy is a nationally certified dental assistant and has over twenty years of experience in the field. She loves seeing the positive changes orthodontics can bring to the lives of others. Kathy enjoys swimming, reading, cooking and anything outside.. Kathy's favorite thing, however, is hanging out with her family and friends. |
